Carolyn V. Thomson, 65 years of age of Mill Road Lehighton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015, at Jeanes Hospital Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Survived by her husband of forty-one years, Donald M. Thomson; daughters, Rebekah T. Emerson wife of Joel of Nobelsville, IN, Carol Dell Kleit wife of Solomon of Phoenixville, PA and Naomi Thomson at home; brother, Albert Vick III and his wife Christine of Arnold , CA.; sister, Mrs. Diane Komorowski wife of Carl of Kennett Square, PA; 5 grand children, Ethan, Alan, Carol Ann, Naomi, and Noah.
A graduate of Harriton High School of Gladwyne, Pa. Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking , gardening and decorating her home. An accomplished seamstress, Carolyn was a member of the Mahoning Valley Fiber Guild.
Carolyn, shared her love of sewing by advising the Home School Girls Sewing Club. She was also a talented quilter.
Affiliated with Christ Evangelical Free Church of Lehighton, Carolyn was an avid reader. Carolyn was dedicated to personal bible Study and read the Bible all the way through each year.
Born Saturday, July 16, 1949 in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Forbes) Vick.
Preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Barbara Wilsbach.
The Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania has been entrusted with her care.
A Funeral service will be at 5 o'clock PM on Sunday May 17, 2015 from Christ Evangelical Free Church located at 2420 Blakeslee Blvd Lehighton, Pennsylvania 18235, Rev. Greg Liable to officiate.
A Gathering of Friends will take place Sunday May 17, 2015 from 3 to 5:00 P.M. at Christ Evangelical Free Church.
Interment: at 1 o'clock P.M. Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Monroeville, New Jersey.
