Carole L. Wittig, 74, formerly of East Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital - Miner's Campus.
Born Tuesday, March 30, 1948 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary (Cienki) Campbell, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Fletcher Wittig on September 05, 2016.
Carole worked as a nurse's aid at St. Luke's Miner's Hospital prior to her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time.
Surviving are brother, Charles Campbell, Jr. and his wife, Carmella of Senoia, GA, sisters, Eileen Petko, Clara Sitaski and her husband, Joseph; Susan Garnett and her husband, James; and Theresa Hawthorn and her husband, Bill. Several nieces and nephews also survive Carole.
