Carol A Yanalavage, age 62, of E. Broad St., Tamaqua, formerly of Coaldale, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at St Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem, Pa.
She retired from Sun Rise Medical, Colorado as a registered respiratory therapist.
Carol was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua and a member of the Coaldale American Legion Auxiliary and PA Society Respiratory Care.
She was a 1969 graduate of Panther Valley H.S., Carbon County Vo-Tech acquiring her L.P.N. certification. She also held a certificate in Sleep Medicine from Penn State and attended L.C.C.C. for the Respiratory Therapy Program.
Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Daniel G. Yanalavage and Adele (Kraipovich) Yanalavage of Coaldale.
She is also survived by her cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Rev. William Linkchorst to officiate.
Interment at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
