Carol Jaffin, of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania passed away on August 24, 2021 as a guest of Heritage Hill Senior Living Center Weatherly, Pennsylvania at 78 years of age.
Born in Scranton the daughter of the late Carl, and Esther (Latniak) Jaffin. She was also predeceased by; sister Arlene Gerrity; brother, Richard Jaffin; nephew, Paul Gerrity.
A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Carol retired from International Correspondence School (ICS) of Scranton having worked as a Customer Services Representative for 35 years.
Carol loved dancing, music(especially Johnny Mathis), was a fan of the NY. Mets, enjoyed playing bingo, and was an avid bowler in her younger years. Devoted to her family, Carol served as a second mother to her niece Donna Gerrity, and her nephew the late Paul Gerrity.
She is survived by her niece, Donna Gerrity and her husband John Strupcewski of Jim Thorpe with whom she resided.
