Carol J. Fredericks

Carol J Fredericks, age 70, of , Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

Carol was a Registered Nurse having worked at Allentown State Hospital.

Carol was a Tamaqua High School and Northampton Area Community College graduate.

Carol maintained membership in the Salvation Army. She was an avid reader. Her constant companions were her pups Buddha Bear, Mickey, Poli, and Rascal. An ardent Yankee's fan her favorite player was Derek Jeter.

Born in West Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Kermit Shellhammer and the late Hattie (Phillips) Shellhammer.

She is survived by her

Lori Ebert wife of Steven of Bethlehem with whom she resided,
Carol Ann Wladika wife of Joseph of Bethlehem;

Three Sons,
Larry Fredericks of Tamaqua,
Bobby Fredericks and his wife Kim,
Shaun Fredericks and his wife Amy and her two children, Nathan and Emily
all of Bethlehem;

One Brother,
Jeremiah M Shellhammer of Tamaqua;

Four Grandchildren,
Larry Fredericks and his wife Stephanie, Christopher Fredericks and his wife Shawna, Ethan Fredericks and Kristen Mariano wife of Michael;

One Great-Grandchild,
Michael Mariano.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Fredericks; sisters, Phyllis Gernert and Darlene Moyer; daughter-in-law Brenda Fredericks.
