Carlton R. Lafong

Carlton R, LaFong, 57 years of age, of Washington St., Tamaqua, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at his home.

Survived by his wife, Judy L. (Miller) LaFong;

Daughters,
Beth N. Shreffler wife of Ike of Nesquehoning,
Jessica Gore wife of David of Tamaqua;

Son,
Carlton LaFong, Jr, and his wife Crystal;

Brothers,
Clyde LaFong of Georgia,
Carl LaFong of St. Thomas;

Sister,
Claudia LaFong of Woodmont Virginia;

Nine Grandchildren.

Carlton had worked in maintenance for Choice Hotels, he enjoyed working on cars, and building model cars. He was a member of Christ Reform U.C.C. of McAdoo, Pennsylvania.

Born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, he was the son of the late Austin LaFong and the late Dorothy (Jones) LaFong. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild; sister, Mrs. Carol Clemens; brother Austin LaFong, Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252

A Memorial Services will be held on Saturday October 3, 2015 at Christ Reform U.C.C. of 120 East Washington Street, McAdoo, Pennsylvania 18237 at noon, Rev. Al Walton to officiate.

Friends may call in church form 11:00 A.M. until time of services.
