Mr. Carl E. Troxell, age 81, of Troxell's Road Lehighton, Pa., died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Blue Mountain Health Systems in Lehighton, upon arrival.

Carl, and his late wife Fern, bought their first Dairy Farm in Mahoning Twp., in 1953. He and his family acquired neighboring farms, sustaining the dairy farm into the second generation. Working until the day of his death, Carl was passionate about the farm, and his family.

He was a member of Ben Salem U.C.C. of Lehighton, Carbon County Cooperative Extension Board, and the D.H.I.A. Assoc..

Born in Andreas, he was the son of the late John, and Eva (Breiner) Troxell.

He is survived by,

Two Daughters,
Kristin Ann (Troxell) Simmons, and her fiancee Hank Williams of Lehighton,
Carlene F. (Troxell) Andress wife of Scott of Palmerton;

Three Sons,
Clair F. Troxell and his wife Diana of Lehighton,
Kenneth C. Troxell with whom he resided,
Carlin M. Troxell and his wife Danette of Lehighton;

Sixteen grandchildren,Carissa, Ryan, Kara, Shanna, Nicholas, Joshua, Justin, Sara, Ashley, Amanda, A.J., Chrissy, Collin, Kyle, Jagr, Nathan

Six great-grandchildren, Rachel, Chelsea, Alyssa, River, Brooklyn, and Morgan;

Brother,
Calvin Troxell, and his wife Norma of Andreas;

Sister,
Esther (Troxell) Peters of Slatington.

Preceded in death by his wife, Fern M. (Dietrich) Troxell on Dec. 17, 2006; son, Kevin John Troxell on March 17, 2000; daughter Karla M. Troxell in 1966; brothers, Claude Solt, Franklin, and Berlyn Troxell.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte. # 309, Snyders Village New Ringgold, Pa. 17960, where friends may call Sunday July 25, 2010 from 6 to 8:00 P.M., and Monday July 26, 2010 from 10 A.M. until time of services.

Funeral Services from the Robert S. Nester F.H., Inc., Monday July 26, 2010 at 11 o'clock A.M., Rev. James L. Knappenberger officiating.

Interment Ben Salem Church Cemetery Lehighton.
