Carl Joseph Bittner, 17 of Wetzel Run Drive Weatherly, died Friday, October 28, 2011 from injuries received in a single vehicle accident in Packer Twp.
Carl was a senior at Weatherly High School. He played on the varsity baseball and basketball teams.
Carl was a member of St. Matthew's church of Weatherly. He played Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and Weatherly youth basketball. Carl loved the outdoors, specifically hunting, shooting, and four-wheeling. He worked at McDonalds in Hometown.
Born in Berwick, he was the son of Bradford K., and Sharlene A (Gimbi) Bittner.
Carl is survived by his brother Nicholas L. Bittner, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Sharon Gimbi of Beaver Meadows, paternal grandfather, Loren Bittner of Royersford, paternal grandmother, Kathryn, wife of William Hawn of Petersburg, paternal great-grandmother, Catherine Chesney of Petersburg, aunts, uncles, and cousins all share in their loss.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday, November 2, ,2011 at the Funeral Home, and from 10 AM until time of services Thursday, November 3, 2011, St. Matthew's Church Quakake Rd. Weatherly at 11:00 AM.
Interment at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Weatherly.
