Candy M. Jeffries

Candy Marie Jeffries, wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, 59 years of age, of Weatherly, passed away at her home Wednesday, following a brief, severe illness.

Survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Charley H. Jeffries; sons, Kent Jeffries and his wife Dawn Jeffries of White Haven, Eric Jeffries of Weatherly; brother Randy Charles of Hamilton, NJ; Sisters: Lori wife of Christopher Steele Meshoppen; Amy wife of Jeffrey McKeon of Toms River, NJ; her twin Cindy wife of Kevin Taylor of Plant City, FL.; grandson Benjamin Jeffries and 9 nephews and nieces.

Born in Montrose,PA, Candy was the daughter of the Gayle & Brenda (Masters) Charles of Montrose.

Candy graduated from Elk Lake High School and the Empire Beauty School Scranton, PA. She operated Candy’s Hair Fashions in Weatherly for 30 years. Before opening her shop in Weatherly, she was manager of the Beauty Salon at Split Rock Galleria White Haven.

She was preceded in death by her sister Wendy Charles.

At Candy’s request services will be private at the convenience of the family.
