Cameron E Reese, age 78, of Wetzel Run Dr.,Weatherly, PA, died Monday, August 11, 2014, at home.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeanette K. (Vrablic) Reese.

Cameron was a Marine Corps Sgt. during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from the New York City Police Dept. and was a former member of the Weatherly School Board.

He was a member of St John Slovak Lutheran Church, Lansford and a graduate of West Hazleton Twp. High School.

Cameron was a member of the Paradise Hunting and Fishing Club and active in the Weatherly Little League.

He was an avid reader and a fisherman.

Born in Audenried, Carbon County, he was the son of the late Cameron S. Reese and the late Mary (Koons) Reese.

He is also survived by his

One Daughter:
Maryann Rickert of Wallsville, Pa.;

One Son:
Thomas E Reese of Weatherly;

Three Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his brother, Thomas L. Reese.

Private Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA.

Interment with Military Honors will be at St John's Slovak Lutheran Cemetery, Summit Hill.
