Mrs. Blanche (Paperman) Schwartz, age 90, of Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Lehigh Valley Hopital Salisbury Twp. , after a long battle with heart disease.
A 1937 Lehighton High School graduate, Blanche worked for the former Tami Sportsware of Tamaqua.
Blanche, was an active member of Temple Israel of Lehighton, and Agudas Israel Synagogue of Hazleton.
A past president of the Tamaqua American Legion Ladies Aux., and a member of the Aux. 8 & 40 club.
Born in Russia, she was the daughter of the late Leopold and Leah (Schuster) Paperman, growing up in Weissport.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Max Schwartz, who she married in Clarksville, TN during WWII;

Carolyn L. (Schwartz) Schwartz wife of Dr. Gerald of South Windsor, Conn.,
Aleta M. (Schwartz) Grunberg wife of Ariel of East Rockaway, N.Y.;
One Son,
Attorney Marvin O. Schwartz and his wife Susan of Whitehall, Pa.;
Five grandchildren
Six great-grandchildren;
Preceded in death by her brothers, Jacob, and Barney Paperman; sister Mrs. Hanna Spanier.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 25, 2010, Rabbi Yaakov Klass officiating.
Interment will be at Sons of Jacob Cemetery.
