Blanche E. Marchalk, 88 years of age and a former resident of Reynold, and Tamaqua passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2016, at Orwigsburg Manor in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania.
Widow of Michael Marchalk who passed away on October 1, 1985, she is survived by son, Gary D. Marchalk, Esquire and his wife Linda of Barnesville; daughter, Mrs. Cathy Santee wife of Scott of Orwigsburg; brother, John "Sonny" Chevinsky and his wife Betty of McAdoo; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew; 3 great grand children.
A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Blanche was a baker for the former Leiby's Restaurant for many years. Proud of her husband's service to his country she was a Military wife. Blanche adored her dogs, and was an avid train enthusiast.
Born August 17, 1928 in McAdoo the daughter of the late Anthony, and Elizabeth (Papanisock) Chevinsky. She was also predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Catherine Stankiewitch, Mrs. Jean Lee, and Miss. Helen Chevinsky.
