Birte "Chris" Elsa (Christiansen) Grover, age 91, of Weatherly, PA, died Monday, June 6, 2016 in Palmerton, PA.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Niles L. Grover on August 29, 2011.
Born in Denmark on January 7, 1925, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Chris was a Stewardess for American Airlines
She was president for many years of the Weatherly flower club and was an active member of Salem United Church of Christ Weatherly.
She enjoyed skiing, traveling, flying with her husband Niles.
She is survived by her Son,Jan Grover and his wife Jill of Weatherly;
Two Grandchildren,
Casey and Tyler.
Also survived by step-granddaughter Jaclyn
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eric; sisters, Karen and Greta.
A private celebration of life will be planned by the family.
In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Carbon Country Animal Shelter and/or Friends of Animals.
