Betty J. Hill, 84 years of age, of E. Broad St., Tamaqua, formerly of Andreas, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Betty had worked in the textile industry in Tamaqua and Orwigsburg last working at the former Sue Frocks.
Betty, belonged to Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township. She was a 1950 Tamaqua High School graduate, and member of the Pocahontas Council of Clamtown.
Born in Palmerton on October 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late George L. Hill, Sr. and the late Verna M. (Hill) Hill.

Niece, Carol Stickler of New Ringgold;
Nephew, Glenn Hill and his wife Debra of New Ringgold;
Many great nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by her brother, George L. Hill, Jr., and an infant brother in 1934
Private Arrangements are have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA.
Interment at Zion Stone Church Cemetery, New Ringgold.
