Beth Joy (Willing) Dailey, age 36, of West Patterson Street Lansford, Pa., died Monday, July 11, 2011, in Tamaqua.
After graduating from Panther Valley High School in 1993, Beth attended LCCC and received a degree in Respiratory Therapy and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She served as secretary to the Panther Valley High School principal for the past ten years.
A devoted mother, she was an active member of the Panther Valley High School Football and Marching Band Boosters, while having served as Ski Club advisor. Beth took great pride in all of her "kids" from PVHS.
Civically, Beth was an active participant of the Lansford Improvement Committee and volunteered with the Food Pantry for many years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lansford and felt strongly about community service.
Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. "Sonny" Willing who died May 17, 1995, and is survived by her mother, June (Pollock) Willing of Lansford.
She is also survived by her husband, Greg O. Dailey;
One Daughter, Miranda-Saleen J. Dailey;
Two Sons, David S. Kerr and Donivan-Michael R. Dailey, all at home in Lansford, Pa.
One Brother, Richard E. Willing and his wife Lisa-Ann of Lansford;
One niece, Krystle-Dawn M. Willing, and nephew, Max R. Willing;
Three aunts, Betty Pearson, Ann Pace and Judy Pollock.
Arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc.,
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 14, 2011 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2011, at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2011, Reverends John & Marjorie Keiter to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to establish education funds for her children can be made in care of Beth and sent to 431 West Patterson Street Lansford, Pa. 18232, or sent to the Funeral Home.
