Mr. Bertram F. Huggett , age 80, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, of Bear Creek Lakes, Jim Thorpe, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr., in Weatherly.
Survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Carol A. (Chattin) Huggett.
Bert attended high school at Girard College of Philadelphia, he then entered the United States Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. Returning home he went to work for Glenside Concrete of Willow Grove where he worked for forty years.
A man of deep faith, Bert was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church of Jim Thorpe. Fishing, and long drives listening to Country Music was how he relaxed, with an eye out for the perfect yard sale.
Bert was a family man and is survived by;

Billy Dickison , Jim Thorpe ,
Brett Huggett and his wife Kim , Cambridge , MA;
Nineteen Grand Children,
Nine Great-Grand Children;
Preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Edward, and James.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA
A Memorial Service will be held Monday March 31, 2014 from St. Mark's Episcopal Church of 21 Race Street Jim Thorpe, Pa. 18229 at 11 o'clock A.M.
Friends shall be received in church from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M.
