Bernadine DeAngelo , 67 years of age of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at home in the care of her family.
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Ralph E. DeAngelo.
Bernie retired from the Schuylkill County Prison System having worked as a guard in Schuylkill County for over 18 years, and previously at Graterford State Correctional facility for 3 &1/2 years.
Born Monday, September 8, 1947 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of Eleanor (Woodward) Arner of Florida, and the late Edward Ignatavich.
Surviving are;
Daughters,
Ellie Saladones wife of William of Tamaqua,
Nadine Bennett of Tamaqua,
3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Ignatavich, Lawrence R. Arner, Jr.; step-father, Lawrence A. Arner, Sr.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
A gathering of Friends shall take place on Friday evening June 26, 2015 at the funeral home from 5 to 7 o'clock P.M..
Private interment.
