Beatrice P. Borascius

Beatrice P. (Nunemacher) Borascius, age 85, of Hazle Street Tamaqua, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Blue Mountain Health Systems in Lehighton.

Widow of Alfred J. Borascius, who died on June 10, 2012.

A member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Bea assisted her late husband in operating Borascius's Bar in Tamaqua for many years, and had worked at the former Atlas Powder Co and Eames's Bakery of Tamaqua.

Born in West Penn Twp., she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Lauchnor) Nunemacher.

She is survived by her

Linda (Borascius) Malinowski wife of Henry of Virginia,
Mary (Borascius) Pierce wife of Dr., David of Saylorsburg;

One Son,
Al Borascius and his wife Barb of Coopersburg;

Six grandchildren, Richard, Kendra, Megan, Garrick, Michael, and Lindsey;

One great grandchild;

Preceded in death by brothers, Russell, Paul, and Raymond Nunemacher.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed. April 10, 2013 at 11 o'clock A.M. from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252, Rev. William Linkchorst to officiate.

Friends shall be received from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. from the Funeral Home.

Interment, SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C Cemetery of Owl Creek, Tamaqua.
