Barbara K. Hyland, 81 years of age of Rowe Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at her home.
Survived by her beloved husband of forty-eight years, William G. Hyland; daughter, Suzanne H. Lakitsky of Tamaqua; grandson Zachary Lakitsky; daughter-in-law, Theresa Krajcirik of Barnesville; sister, Mrs. Judith Fritz of Schnecksville.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Barbara retired from the former Atlas Powder Company of Reynolds as a secretary, and then worked as the manager of the Tamaqua Majestic Building for many years.
Barbara was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua, and an animal lover.
Born Saturday, June 30, 1934 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Delmar, and Mae (Harpster) Kline. Barbara was predeceased by sons, Christopher M. Hyland, and Michael Krajcirik
