Barbara A. Deem, 83 years of age, of Zion Stone Church Road New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at home while in the tender care of her daughter Laurie Dolinsky and her husband Dave.
Born Friday, September 17, 1937 in Fredericksburg, Virginia the daughter of the late John Saunders, and Nolie (Mills) Saunders. She was also predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Francis D. Deem on Sept. 11, 2004
A graduate of Tamaqua High School, Barbara had worked at the former New Ringgold Mills for many years, and had waitressed for many local restaurants. Barbara also assisted her husband in the operation of their business, B.A. Deems Excavation.
A member of Zion Stone Church of New Ringgold, Barbara enjoyed her weekly pinochle games, and trips to the casino. She and Francie spent many days on his Moto Guzzi Motorcycle touring.
