Arlene M (Schlosser) Schenkel, age 83, of Ash Circle Rd., Andreas, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at home in the care of her family.
She was the widow of Richard A. Schenkel who passed on 3/29/1985.
Arlene was a member of St. Peter's Church, Mantzville.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. Arlene was an excellent cook and baker.
Born in Allentown on March 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Paul Schlosser and the late Edith (Barlip) Schlosser.
She is survived by her;
Four Daughters,
Carol A Faust wife of Marvin, Diana L. Faust wife of Darvin, Shirley A. Faust wife of Marlin and Dorothy G. Faust wife of Dean, all of Andreas;
One Son,
Richard B. Schenkel and his wife Doreen M. of Andreas;
Two Sisters,
Kathryn Delano of Tamaqua;
Kay Schlosser of Allentown;
One Brother,
Robert Schlosser of Allentown;
Ten Grandchildren
Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her grandson, Marvin R. Faust in 1992; brother, Paul Schlosser.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA.
Funeral service will be at St. Peter's Church 184 St Peter's Rd., Tamaqua, PA at 11 o'clock AM, Friday, July 17, 2015. Call on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church.
Interment will be at St Peters Church Cemetery, Mantzville.
