Ardith C. Shea

Mrs. Ardith C. (Haiges) Shea, age 76, of East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Friday, February 4, 2011, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp.

A 1952 Tamaqua High School graduate, Ardith was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua.

Ardith, had worked at the former Newberry's , and was a cafeteria aide for the Tamaqua School Dist.
She was the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Major) Haiges.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters,
Terri (Shea) Dillman wife of Craig, Lori (Shea) Ryan wife of Andrew both of Tamaqua;

Two Sons,
Thomas Shea of Melbourne, Fla.,
Christopher Shea of Tamaqua;

Two Sisters,
Mrs. Mildred (Haiges) Miller of Tamaqua,
Grace (Haiges) Zimmerman of Ithaca, N.Y.;

One Brother,
Richard Haiges and his wife Beverly of Dayton, Ohio;

Six grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Heather, Laura, Jennifer, and Robert;

Two great-grandchildren;Ellyana, and Nicholas;

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Shea on December 30, 1994.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,where the family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until time of services on Thursday February 10, 2011.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11 o'clock A.M. Thursday, February 10, 2011, Rev. Jeffrey P. Kistler officiating.

Interment will be at Odd Fellows in Tamaqua, Pa.
