Arden Stanford Carl, 77 years of age, of ZaJac Lane, Nescopeck, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Preceded in death by his wife on Oct. 18, 2015, LaVade D. (Smith) Carl. Arden is survived by; daughter, Mrs. Lisa Kellerman wife of Bruce of Weatherly; grandchildren, James Kellerman and his wife Cathy, Gennesa Lowry and her husband Todd, Tonya, and Jeremy Kellerman; six great-grandchildren.
Arden had served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War and retired from Heinz Corporation of Berwick. Previously Arden had worked for the Strick Corporation, and in the construction field.
Arden, enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, gardening, shooting pool, and playing dice and cards with his grandchildren.
Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Russell and Dorothy Carl. Arden was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Allen, and Franklin.
Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street, Weatherly, PA.
