Anthony J. Burke, 80 years of age, of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
Born Saturday, August 29, 1942 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania the son of the late Joseph, and Anna (Kishonis) Burke. Anthony was also predeceased by; his wife, Sally A. (Bear) Burke on December 28, 2016; sisters, Doris Dunn, Alice B. Camerini.
Surviving are; son, Brian Burke and his wife Katie of Severn, MD; daughter, Anne Marie Enggasser wife of the late Edward of Oreland, PA; grandchildren, Joshua Burke, Jonathon Burke, Anthony J. Burke, William Enggasser, and Hannah Enggasser; great grandchildren, Octavia Rose Engasser, and Winston Engasser.
A Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Anthony served honorably as a member of the United States Air Force for over 20 years, retiring as a Master Sgt. having worked as a Metrologist. Anthony earned his B.S. from Illinois University, and was an avid fisherman, and devout reader.

A celebration of Anthony's Life will be held at 11 o'clock A.M. on Friday December 30, 2022 from the funeral home. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Military honors will be bestowed.
Both Anthony, and Sally's remains will be privately interred at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pennsylvania.
