Anna Mae Kotch, of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at her residence at the age of 84.
Born Monday, August 28, 1933 in Middleport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S., and Cecilia (Nowak) Zelinsky.
She is survived by her family; son, Stephen J. Kotch and his wife Karen of Boonsboro, MD; grandchildren, Christian, Zachary, and MacKenzie; sisters, Dorothy King and her husband John of Coaldale, PA, Patricia Alonge and her husband Bernie of Brockton, PA. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mary Ann Zelinsky, Irene Toback, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Kotch, Jr, and her brother Joseph Zelinsky.
A 1951 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Anna Mae retired from Hagerstown Trust Bank, where she had worked as a teller and secretary. She had also worked as a receptionist in several physician offices. Anna Mae had also served as a volunteer at Meritus Medical Center in the John R Marsh Cancer Center.
As a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown, MD, she enjoyed volunteering for the Adoration Chapel.

A Rite of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11 am, St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 104 East Bertsch Street, Lansford, Pennsylvania 18232. Rev. Vasyl Chepelskyy will officiate.
Friends shall be received on the morning of October 6, from 9 am until 10:30 am at the funeral home. Parastas will be at 10:00 am.
Interment will be in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania.
