Mrs. Anna M (McGill) Wertman, age 80, of Blackwood, N.J., formerly of Weatherly, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Kennedy Health Care Ctr in Sewell, N.J.
She was the widow of William H. Wertman, Sr. who passed away in 1988.
She was a member of the former St. Nicholas R.C.C. of Weatherly.
Anna was a Weatherly High School graduate.
She, along with her husband, owned and operated Wertman's Hardware Store, she had been employed by Boscov's and retired from Nathan's Furniture of Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Edward McGill and the late Anna (Denion) McGill.
She is survived by her

Linda (Wertman) Viereck wife of Eugene of Blackwood, NJ;
One Son,
William H Wertman, Jr. and his wife Karen of Nanticoke;
One Sister,
Rose Michael wife of Woodrow of Hazleton;
Niece,
Patt;
Nephews,
Edward, Michael and Robert.
Preceded in death by her brother, James McGill; sister, Loretta Goffa.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First St., Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D. Supervisor where the family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 6-8 PM and on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 10-11 AM.
Prayer Service will be on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11 o'clock AM at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home.
Interment at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
