Anna W. Ravina, R.N., of First Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2020, in her home at the age of 89 years.Born Sunday, November 30, 1930 in Freeland, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Balyo) Wursta. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband Dr. William T. "Doc" Ravina, D.D.S. on June 16, 2010; sisters, Helen Morinich, Mary Kostick; brothers, Michael, George, John and Stevie Wursta; and four siblings passed away in early childhood. Surviving are son, William T. Ravina, Jr. of Hollywood, Fl.; daughters, Laura Wagner of Quakake, Cindy Hart wife of Bill of Sewell, NJ and Nancy Hadzick wife of Ed of Peachtree City, GA.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.A graduate of Freeland High School, Anna earned her R.N. from the Temple School of Nursing in Philadelphia. After graduation, Anna worked at Temple Hospital, before working for the Veteran's Hospital in Philadelphia. She and Doc came to Weatherly where he began his practice of dentistry and they raised their family. In 1972 Anna returned to nursing at Weatherwood until she retired in 1985. Anna was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly. She was an active member of the Community Chest, served on the board of Tweedle Park Association, and volunteered with the American Cancer Society. Family was foremost in Anna's life. She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by all. Besides her family, she had a great love for playing cards – you didn’t want to mess with her at Pinochle or Poker!Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J.
