Anna Louise Racko, beloved mother, baba, sister, of East Abbott Street Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in the home she loved while in the tender care of her family.
Born Friday, July 18, 1941 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Steven, and Anna (Sterzen) Hydock. Anna was also predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John J. Racko on May 29, 2017.
Surviving are; daughters, Michele R. Bartek of Lansford, Johnna McHugh wife of Bruce of Tamaqua; sister, Eleanore Spirellis wife of James, and their son Douglas; grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Todd Kehl, Jonathan and his wife Desi, Alyssa, Nathan and his wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Madison, Liam, and Ryan.
A Marian Catholic High School graduate, Anna was catholic by faith. She had worked at the former Boteks Market in Lansford for many years, and retired from North Western Polymer of Hometown. She and her late husband John were tireless volunteers for the American Fire Company of Lansford. A doting grandmother, Anna loved seeing her family grow, and prosper. She enjoyed family visits, even when indulging in her favorite shows on the HallMark channel.
