Anna Mae Nagle, of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton Campus in Hazleton, Pennsylvania at the age of 93.
Widow of Thaddeus M. "Ted" Nagle who passed away on February 14, 2017. She is survived by; daughters, Donna Miscavige wife of Daniel Miscavige of Weatherly, Dr. Denise Bailey wife of G. Alan Bailey, Esquire of Gladwyne; brother, Larry Forwood and his wife Aura of Simi Valley, CA; 5 grand children; 3 great grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Elizabethtown High School, Anna matriculated to Philadelphia General Hospital earning her RN. She was a 50 year member, and Past Matron of Eastern Star Lodge #107 of Hazleton, and member of Faith U.C.C. of Hazleton.
Born Wednesday, October 15, 1924 in Elizabethtown the daughter of the late Roland, and Annie (Frye) Forwood. She was also predeceased by; sister, Ruth Yoder; brothers, Harold, Ralph, Glenn, and Wilbur Forwood.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 o'clock PM, noon on Friday November 10, 2017 from the Faith U.C.C. of Hazleton located at 21 Faith Drive Hazleton, Pennsylvania 18201, Rev. Jane Hess to officiate. Friends may call in church on the morning of services from 11:00 A.M. until time of worship.
An Eastern Starr Service will be helf at 11:45 AM.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
