Mrs. Anna S. (Slota) Lesko, age 95, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Friday, December 3, 2010, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Hometown.
A 1934 Tamaqua High School graduate, Anna was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Anna, retired in 1975 after 35 years of service from Quality Control Corporation.
Born in Mahanoy City, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Slota.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Lesko on October 9, 2001; brother, Walter Slota; sister Mary Reith.
Survived by nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,
The family will receive friends from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa., from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 o'clock noon from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C., Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
Mass cards, or memorials in her honor may be made to the church.
