Anna R. Deisenroth

Anna R. (Hagelgans) Deisenroth, age 89, of Weatherly, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitaion Ctr. in Weatherly.

Widow of William R. Deisenroth, who died in 1975.

A member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly, Anna had worked for Tung-Sol.

She had served as president of the Weatherly American Legion Aux., was a committee member of the Democratic Club, member of the Hazleton Chapter of Eastern Star, and belonged to the Friendship Senior Citizens of Weatherly.

Anna, enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of her home.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Bridget (McDermott) Hagelgans.

Nancy (Deisenroth) Cosgrove of Weatherly;

One Son,
William Deisenroth and his wife Maria of Williamsport,

One Sister,
Joan (Hagelgans) Kelly of Moosic;

One Brother,
Arthur Hagelgans of Hazleton;

Fourteen grandchildren
Thirty One great-grandchildren;

Son-in-law, Daniel W. Jones, Sr. of White Haven;

Preceded in death by a daughter, LaMay Ann (Deisenroth) Jones in 2008; son, George Deisenroth in 1997; sisters, Mrs. Mary Sanzie, Mrs. Katherine Bartone, and Miss Patricia Haglegans; brothers, Joseph, Leroy, and Ronald Hagelgans, great grandchildren, Jennifer Thrash, and Holly Deisenroth.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2013 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2013.

Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffriess Funeral Home at 11 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, April 17, 2013, Rev. Nancy Hardy to officiate.

Interment will be at Mount Laurel Cemetery, Hazleton.
