Mrs. Anna Mae (Toth) Betz, age 82, of Tamaqua, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the widow of James W. Betz.
She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua.
Anna Mae had worked in the textile industry.
She had a great love for her grandchildren.
Born in Tuscarora, she was the daughter of the late Michael Toth and the late Anna (Novak) Toth.
She is survived by her
Three Daughters,
Ruth Ann (Betz) Heckman and her husband Robert of Quakake;
Kathy (Betz) Petruncio and her husband Joseph of Mohrsville; and Karen (Betz) Kistler and her husband Dean of Hamburg;
Three Sons,
Joseph Betz and his wife Lillian of Tamaqua; James Betz of Pottsville; and Francis Betz and his wife Kim of Tamaqua;
One Brother,
Francis Toth and his wife Irene of Seek;
Thirteen grandchildren
Eight great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Tieman in 2007; brothers, Bernard, Michael and Edward; sisters, Theresa, Lillian and Mary Jane.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 8:30-9:30 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10 o'clock AM at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine St., Tamaqua, Reverend William Linkchorst to officiate.
Interment at St. Jerome Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pa.
