Ann Marie Sassaman

Ann Marie Sassaman, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, of Archery Club Road New Ringgold passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at home while in the care of her children after a 6 month battle with cancer at 80 years of age.

Born Sunday, June 16, 1940 in Tuscarora, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Fabian and Louisa (Gangloff) Heim-Fabian. Ann Marie was predeceased by her husband Joseph W. Sassaman on Oct 2nd, 1994 after 35 years of marriage. Ann Marie was also predeceased by; son Kevin Sassaman, brothers, Stephen, and Timothy Fabian.

A member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township, Ann Marie retired from
the Postal Service having worked in Andreas. An ardent Philadelphia
Phillies fan, Ann Marie enjoyed bowling, was active in the Lehighton bowling league, and liked gardening.

Surviving are; daughters, Holly A. Brennan and her fiancé William "Bean" Welker, of New Ringgold, Lori S. Sawka and her husband, Michael of New Ringgold; son, Scott J. Sassaman and his wife, Amanda of New Ringgold; sister, Rose Mary "Cookie" Rosohac of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Kristin Abernathy of Philadelphia, Zach Schmeck and his wife Melissa of Michigan.

The family will receive friends on Thursday March 25, 2021 from 9:30 A.M.
until 10:45 A.M from the funeral home.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at 11 o'clock A.M.

Interment Zion Stone Church Cemetery of West Penn Township.
