Mrs. Ann E. (Bickleman) Laughlin , age 78, of Bowe St.,Tamaqua, died Monday, August 25, 2014, at home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Laughlin in 2011.
Ann had worked for the former Miners Bank of Tamaqua, she was also a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C., Tamaqua and a 1954 graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.
Born in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (Quinn) Bickleman.
She is survived by her
One Daughter,
Mrs. Roseann M. (Laughlin) Heffner wife of Keith of Orwigsburg;
Two Sons:
Robert C. Laughlin of Tamaqua and
Thomas J. Laughlin and his wife Donna of Tamaqua;
One Sister:
Miss Veronica Bickleman of Lebanon;
Three Brothers:
John Bickleman and his wife Stella of Reading;
Bernard Bickleman of Danville;
Charles Bickleman of Pottsville;
Four Grandchildren,
Christina, Joshua, Rebecca and Jenn;
Five Great-Grandchildren,
KyLee, Eris, Jocelynn, Maddison and Piper.
Preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Bickleman; sisters, Mary Porter and Eleanor Doerrman.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St John XXIII R.C.C., 264 W. Broad St., Tamaqua at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 28, 2014, Rev. John Frink to officiate.
Interment will be at St. Jerome's RC Cemetery, Tamaqua.
Memorials in her honor may be sent to St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. John XXIII Parish 266 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, PA 18252.
