Ann "Demie" Demyanovich, age 85, of Second Street Coaldale, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem.
A member of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church of Lansford, Demie, was a 1945 Coaldale High School graduate.
Working in New York City, as a "Nanny to the Stars", Demie raised small babies until they where ready for a training nurse.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter, the late George and Mary (Gulick) Demyanovich.
She is survived by her
One Brother,
Edward Demyanovich and his wife Barbara of Bethlehem;
Nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by her sisters, Mrs. Mary Dankovich, Mrs. Irene Kellner, and Mrs. Helen Wagner; brothers, George, Nick, and Emil Demyanovich.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
A Panachida Service will be celebrated Monday April 15, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home, Rev. Vasyl Chepelskyy officiaiting.
Parastas Services Sunday evening from the funeral home at 7:30 P.M.
Friends may call Sunday evening April 14, 2013, at the E. Franklin Griffiths F.H., Inc. from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M., and on Monday morning April 15, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery
