Angela Marie

Angela M. (Serfass) Steigerwalt, age 35, of Union Street, Tamaqua, died tragically Saturday, February 1, 2014, in Jim Thorpe, Pa.

She is survived by her husband of twelve years, Gary D. Steigerwalt.

A 1996 Tamaqua High School graduate, Angela had worked as a Supervisor at the J. C. Penney Distribution plant in Fogelsville until they relocated. Recently, she joined her husband, Gary, at Kraft Foods of Allentown, where he has worked for over forty years.

Angela loved her dog Tucker, and her pig collection. Her collection included banks, pictures...anything resembling a pig.

On a warm day, Angela would join Gary on the back of his motorcycle.

Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of Randy Serfass of Tamaqua, and Jean (Boltz) Serfass who resides with her companion, Paul Knepper, in New Ringgold.

She is also survived by her;

Stepson, Brendon Steigerwalt at home;

Sister, Sherri Steigerwalt of Lehighton, Pa.;

Brother, Scott Serfass of New Ringgold, Pa.;

Niece, Christi; Nephews, Todd, Austin, and Chase;

Grandniece Fey

Aunt Carolyn Serfass Cochrane, Fogelsville;

and her Uncles Serfass from Tamaqua: Donald, Dennis and William.

Many in-laws also survive her;

Preceded in death by her stepson, Jeremy Steigerwalt.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pa. 17960 where the family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2014.

Memorial Service will be at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2014, Rev. Michael A. Frost to officiate.
