Andrew J. Trovitch, 60, of Weatherly, died Dec. 5 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown after a long illness.
He graduated from Hazleton High School in 1968 and was retired from Bemis Co. in Hazleton.
He is the son of Joseph and Dorothy Zumar-Trovitch-Council both deceased. Andrew is survived by two daughters, Tara Trovitch of Carlisle and Desiree Trovitch-Miller of Weatherly; two grandchildren; sisters Dot Trovitch-Zazycki and husband Ray of Drums, PA, and Nancy L. Trovitch-McElwee of Fredrick, MD; brother Robert Trovitch and wife Angie of Conygham, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Hinterleiter-Trovitch; and both his mother, Dorothy Zumar-Trovitch-Council and father Joseph Trovitch as well as his maternal Grandmother Anna Tarapchak-Zumar.
Andrew’s hobbies included hunting, the outdoors, cooking, reading, games, models and .puzzles.
A memorial service, open to the public, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at the Weatherly Citizens Fire Hall 107 Spring St Weatherly PA. Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup., 211 First Street Weatherly is handling the arragements.
