Mrs. Alverta M. Bizarre, mother, sister, gram, 97 years of age of Quakake Road, Packer Township, Weatherly, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton Campus in Hazleton.
Widow of Stephen "Happy" Bizarre who passed away on June 15, 1966, she is survived by; daughters, Mrs. Loretta M. Rogosky of Tamaqua, Mrs. Dolores A. Mehalko wife of John of Weatherly, Daria L. Lisbinsky of Weatherly; son, John Bizarre of Weatherly; sisters, Mrs. Lois Douglas of Weatherly, Lorraine Argust of Tamaqua; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
An active member of St. Matthews Union Church of Weatherly, Alverta retired from McAdoo Manufacturing having worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Born Wednesday, May 14, 1919 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania. the daughter of the late James, and Ida (Knepper) Dietrich, she was also predeceased by; infant son, Paul Stephen; sisters, Mrs. Edith Reed, Mrs. Mae Kunkel, Mrs. Iva Kunkel, Mrs. Velma Thrash, Mrs. Irma Logan, and Melva Dietrich; brothers, Floyd, Lee, Melvin, Harold, and Gordon Dietrich.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231.
A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock AM on Saturday December 31, 2016 from St. Matthews Union Church located at 3153 Quakake Road Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255, Rev. Robert vonFrisch to officiate. Friends may call at church from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park Tamaqua.
