Mrs. Alma J. (Heffelfinger) Jenco, age 87, formerly of West Ridge Street Lansford, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pa.
A 1940 Lansford High School graduate, Alma worked as a sewing machine operator for various textile operations in Lansford.
Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Bertha (Stoudt) Heffelfinger.
Preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Jenco in 1958; brothers, LeRoy, Wilbur, and Francis Heffelfinger; sisters, Irene, and Evelyn Heffelfinger;
Survived by three step-daughters; nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 200 East Bertsch Street, Lansford, Pa..
Graveside Funeral Services, will be at Grand Army Cemetery on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00AM, Rev. Marjorie Keiter officiating.
