Alma T. Dammeyer, 86 years of age, of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weathery, Pennsylvania.
Widow of George William Dammeyer who passed away on June 6, 2015.
Survived by;
Son, John Dammeyer and his wife Anette of White Haven;
Daughters,
Toni Snyder wife of Earl of Walnutport,
Georgia Learn wife of Tom of Palmyra, NY,
Michele Gratton of Weatherly,
Nicole Dixon of Clyde, NC;
9 grandchildren;
13 great grandchildren.
Born Saturday, April 27, 1929 in Ridgefield, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Jesse F., and Maria Jane (Zottorelli) Haines, she was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Dammeyer; sister, Miss Jeanne C. Haines; brothers, Richard, and Robert Haines; grandson, Brad Dammeyer.
A graduate of Ridge Field Park High School in New Jersey, Alma had worked for George Hayden Electronics, and for Dr. John Engle. Upon retiring, she worked for Whitewater Rafting.
Alma was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, walking, and was an avid reader.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services 211 First street Weatherly, Pennsylvania where the family will receive friends on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 10-11:00 A.M.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11 o'clock A.M. at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Father Stone to officiate.
Interment at St. Nicholas R.C.C.C., Weatherly, PA.
