Mr. Allen "Skipper" F. Ehrich III, age 64, of Elm St., Tamaqua died Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was employed by Sumitomo of Allentown (formerly Air Products, Inc.) where he worked as a machinist.
He was a 1963 Tamaqua High School graduate.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Allen F. Jr. and Ethel Marie (Purcell) Ehrich.
He is survived by his
wife of 26 years, Carol A. (Warning) Ehrich of Tamaqua
4 daughters, Crystal York of Tamaqua and three daughters in South Carolina. Pamela (Ehrich) West wife of David West, Melissa Ehrich and Elizabeth (Ehrich) McCreery wife of Matthew McCreery.
granddaughter, Brianna M. York of Tamaqua
Preceded in death by his sister Ethel Jane Starry.
Private Graveside Service was held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pa.
