Alice J Gerhart, age 79, of Shenandoah, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Ridge View Health Center in Shenandoah.
She had worked as a presser and packer at Bemis Corporation, Hazleton.
Alice was a 1953 graduate of Weatherly High School and she was involved with the Boys Scouts of America.
She was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.
Born in Weatherly on November 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alex Gerhart and the late Edna (Schnauffer) Gerhart.
She is survived by her
One Son,
Matthew J Gerhart and his wife Jan of Palmyra, PA;
One Sister,
Doris Gerhart of Shenandoah;
Two Grandchildren,
Alex E. and David A.
Preceded in death by her sisters, Mrs Thelma Mauie, Mrs Mary Bolish and Betty Mehalko; brothers, Emory, Harold, Marvin, Warren and Carl Gerhart.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA.
Graveside Service will be at Union Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2015, Pastor Donald Stump to officiate.
