Albert J. Lechleitner, age 58, of East Cottage Ave., Tamaqua, died Thursday morning, January 24, 2013, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Survived by his wife of 20 years, Betty (Gradwell) Lechleitner.
Albert was a 1972 Northwestern Lehigh High School graduate. He enlisted in the United States Air Force serving four years, and then joined the Army National Guard retiring in 1997 having served for 25 years, rising to the rank of E-5.
Albert worked for E.A.M. Mosca of West Hazleton for 20 plus years.
He was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, President of the North Ward Social Club of Schuylkill Haven, Financial Secretary of the Tamaqua Italian Club, and Commander of Post 583 Lakewood American Legion of Barnesville.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Marvin and Anna (Zimmer) Lechleitner.
He is also survived by his;

Missy (Wendling) Schartel wife of Douglas of Tamaqua,
Rickann (Wendling) Heiser wife of Edward of Schuylkill Haven,
Melinda Frehafer of St. Clair;
One Sister,
Holly (Lechleitner) Hertzig-Kuhn wife of Peter of Tamaqua.
Seven grandchildren;
Seven great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his brother, Paul Lechleitner.
