Alan S. Greig, 57 years of age of West Broad Street, Tamaqua, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at home.
Survived by his wife of twenty years, Marilee L. (Flail) Greig; son, Devon Greig and his wife Sara of Effort; Stepson, Brandon Shippers and his wife Amy with a baby boy Quinn due the end of the month of Nazareth; grandchildren, Liam, and Micah.
A 1977 graduate of Stroudsburg High School, Alan served in the United States Army. Alan, worked at P.S.I Container of McAdoo. A talented musician, he was the lead singer and vocalist of the Alan Scott Band.
Alan enjoyed riding motor cycles.
Born Monday, September 29, 1958 in Brooklyn, the son of Hugh Greig of Lake Ariel, and the late Nancy (Dooley) Vogt.
