Aida H. Kehler-Nelson

Mrs. Aida H. (Lawall) Kehler-Nelson, 68 yrs. of age, of North Scenic Street Allentown, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.

A 1960 Tamaqua High School graduate, Aida had worked for Dr. Robert Saks of Centre Valley for over 30 years.

She was a member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp., New Ringgold, Pa.

Aida, was a loving wife, mother, and friend, who will be sadly missed.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late James and Mae (Jewells) Lawall who were both deceased by her fifth birthday. Upon the death of her parents, Aida was raised by her grandmother Ruth Jewells, and aunt Aida Borman.

She is survived by her husband Daniel A. Nelson, Sr.;

Richard J. Kehler, Jr. and his wife Diane of Wake Forest, N.C.,
Jeffrey S. Kehler and his wife Michele of Atlanta, Ga.;
Daniel Nelson and his wife Meg of Allentown, Pa.
Brian Nelson and his wife Aimee of South Carolina;

Eight grandchildren;

Preceded in death by her first husband, Richard James Kehler, Sr. in 1971; brother, James Lawall; sisters, Patricia Nelson, and Joanne Musser.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte.#309, New Ringgold, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp., Cemetery Road New Ringgold, Pa. 17960.

A memorial service will be at Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 18, 2011, Rev. Michael A. Frost officiating.

Private interment.
