Adolph "DoeDoe" Zelonis, age 84, of Clay St., Tamaqua, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at home.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth E. (Herring) Zelonis.
Adolph had worked for the former Farley and Zakrusky Coal companies before retiring from Lehigh Asphalt, Tamaqua.
He was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. and the Citizen's Fire Co., both of Tamaqua.
He enjoyed refinishing furniture and woodworking.
Born in Mary-D, he was the son of the late John and Marcella (Novack) Zelonis.

Five Great-Grand Children.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Peter, Stanley and Edward Zelonis; granddaughter, Tara Mirabella.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2014.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2014, Reverend Kevin Duffy-Guy to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, PA
