Joan (Dally) Evans, of Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 her 90th birthday, as a guest of Marywood Heights Nursing Home in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, October 8, 1934 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. the daughter of the late William, and Dorothy (Schappell) Dally. Joan was also predeceased by; her beloved husband of 69 years, George E. Evans Sr.; sister, Dorothy Sweeney; brother, William Dally.
Surviving are; son, George R. Evans, Jr. of Scranton; daughter, Chandelle DeSarro wife of the late Joseph of Scranton; grandchildren, Chad Evans and his wife Caitlin, Brittany Wasilewski wife of Joseph, Joseph DeSarro, Justin DeSarro; great grandchildren, Ethan, Elliot, Joseph, Kinslee, Paislee. Many nieces and nephews also survive Joan.
A Coaldale High School graduate, Joan was Methodist by faith, and enjoyed playing Bingo.
