Glenn A. "Beezer" Knepper, 87, of Weatherly Rd#1, passed away at Weatherwood Thursday morning.
Born in Packer Twp., he was the son of the late James & Stella (Schwalm) Knepper.
Glenn, was a member of the U.C.C congregation at St. Matthew’s Church Packer Twp.
Before retiring he was a truck driver for PA. D.O.T.,
A WW II Navy veteran, Glenn was a member of American Legion Post #360 Weatherly, and a Honorary member of the Citizens’ Fire Co. #1 Weatherly.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 66 years Louise (Minnick) Knepper;
Daughter, Carol Ann wife of Joseph Colecio of Tresckow;
Sister, Rosalie wife of Earl “Bounce” Titus Weatherly;
4 Grandchildren: Anthony & Jennifer Colecio,
Roseann & Calvin Gabos,
Michael & Nadine Knepper,
and Glenn Knepper;
5 Great grandchildren, Santino Gabos, Amanda, Alexis, and Antonio Colecio, Kayla Knepper;
Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a Son, Glenn “Jimmy” Knepper;
brothers, Alvin & Raymond Knepper; sisters,Bessie Gerhard & Muriel Searfoss.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Matthew’s Church Saturday 11-26-2011 at 10 AM. Rev. Fredericka Beauchard will officiate.
Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
Family will receive friends in church from 9 AM until time time of service.
